St. Eugene parishioners are an active, concerned group, and good stewards of their time, talent and treasure as they offer their services to the Lord. Parishioners are active in parish organizations including Altar Society, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul, Saint Eugene's Fellowship of Catholic Men, Youth Group, Single Adults and Young Marrieds. Parish volunteers drive for Meals on Wheels, and Loaves and Fishes, a meals on wheels program for men and women living with HIV/AIDS, in addition to many organization and volunteer activities connected with the school.
Parishioners are also active as volunteer catechists for many programs, including RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). Parishioners work as couples for marriage preparation, youth ministry, shut-in visitation, altar services, sacristans for each Mass, ushers, lectors and Eucharistic ministers, as well as catechists for CCD and the sacraments.
For additional information on any of these programs, or to receive a copy of the parish quarterly newsletter, THE GOSPEL TRUTH, please call the church office, (405) - 751-7115.
