Every woman of the parish, or one married to a member of the parish, is a member of the Altar Society. There are currently three active Guilds that meet monthly (see below for meeting times & commission):
Guilds:St. Teresa: meets first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
Commission- Family
St. Patricia: meets first Thursday each month 9:30 a.m. (babysitting available)
Commission-Church
St. Anne Sewing Guild: meets third Thursday each month at 7 p.m.
Commission -Community Concerns
Religious activities include:

Assisting the Pastor in the welfare of the Parish.

Providing continuous care of the altar and sanctuary.

Providing funeral dinners for families of deceased parishioners.

Each Guild not only serves the Church, but also the Community in a variety of ways. They are all eager to have new members. So, take a minute, review the times of meetings, and call to join us.
The Altar Society plays a very important role at St. Eugene. We are responsible for caring for the Priest’s vestments, arranging the flowers, cleaning the altar and vessels. We are also responsible for purchasing candles, altar bread, wine, flowers, altar linens and all of the other items that are necessary to celebrate the liturgy services. We need your help to accomplish all of this. Dues is $15 per year- and can be mailed to the church or placed in the collection basket- be sure to note Altar Society dues on your envelope.
